Veronica Schorr is the author of Conscious Blue (Finishing Line Press, 2021) and winner of the Collins Literary Prize in Poetry. Most recently, she received an honorable mention in the 2023 Spoon River Poetry Review Editors' Prize.
Veronica writes and makes photos at the intersection of gender, sexual, ethnic, and religious identity. Her work largely centers around the nuances of (queer) love and human relationships, the natural world, and the complexities of being a woman in public and in private. She is Assistant Poetry Editor at EcoTheo Review. When she's not writing, reading, or making photos, you can usually find her hiking somewhere around Phoenix (O’odham and Piipaash land) with her partner.
